Ving Rhames is an American actor known for his muscular body, heavy voice, and his multifaceted acting skills. He had his first acting experience in a play for Broadway called ‘The Boys of Winter’ in 1984. The same year he made his movie debut in ‘Go Tell It on the Mountain’.
Ving Rhames has given tremendous performances in successful movies like ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ (1990), ‘Stop, or My Mom Will Shoot‘ (1992), ‘Blood In Blood Out’ (1993), ‘Dave’ (1993), ‘Pulp Fiction’ (1994), Mission Impossible’ (1996), ‘Striptease’ (1996), ‘Rosewood’ (1997), ‘Con Air’ (1997), ’Bringing Out the Dead’(1999), ‘Baby Boy’(2001), ‘Dark Blue’(2002), ‘Dawn of the Dead’(2004), ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry’ (2004), ‘Day of the Dead’ (2008), Piranha 3D (2012) etc. His top grossing movie till date remains ‘Pulp Fiction’.
He also works in television, and has won a Golden Globe for ‘Best Actor in a Mini TV Series’ in HBO’s ‘Don King: Only in America’ in 1998. He has also starred in medical drama, ‘ER’ for three seasons (1994-96). He has appeared in all the ‘Mission Impossible’ movies.
His worst movies have to be ‘Seven Below’ (2013), Force of Execution (2012) and ‘Soldier of Fortune’ (2012).
