Victor Garber is a Canadian-American actor and singer. He is known for several roles such as Jesus in the musical ‘Godspell’, Jack Bristow in the TV show ‘Alias’, and Thomas Andrews in the epic disaster film ‘Titanic’.
He initially began his career as a solo folk singer. Later, he formed a folk group named ‘The Sugar Shoppe’. He became known as an actor after playing Jesus in the 1973 musical ‘Godspell’. He also appeared in TV films such as ‘Jack: A Flash Fantasy’ and ‘Tartuffe’.
His most critically appreciated works are ‘Godspell’ (1973), ‘The First Circle’ (1992), ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ (1993), ‘Titanic’ (1997), the TV series ‘Alias’ (2001-2006), ‘Milk’ (2008), ‘Argo’ (2012), ‘Sicario’ (2015) and the 2019 miniseries ‘Tales of the City’.
