American actress and model Uma Thurman stepped into showbiz as model. She made her debut in films with the 1987 American film ‘Kiss Daddy Goodnight’. She garnered international fame with the 1994 film ‘Pulp Fiction’ that earned her several award nominations including an Oscar and a Golden Globe. Other notable works of Thurman includes films ‘Batman & Robin’ (1997), ‘Les Misérables’ (1998) and ‘Nymphomaniac’ (2013); TV movie ‘Hysterical Blindness’ (2002) that won her a Golden Globe Award; and television series ‘Smash’ (2012) that fetched her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
