Well-known American actor and singer, Tom Waits is best known as one of the most popular singers of all time, along with being a respectable actor. He started his acting career in the early 80s with films, such as ‘Wolfen,’ ‘One from the Heart,’ and ‘Rumble Fish.’ Although he mostly appeared in side roles, he proved that given the right role, he could act rather well. The 1983 film ‘The Outsiders’ proved to be his big acting breakthrough and he continued his acting career with some notable films, such as ‘Down by Law,’ ‘Candy Mountain,’ ‘Mystery Train,’ ’12 Monkeys,’ and ‘Mystery Men.’
While he concentrated more on his musical career, he churned out some successful albums, such as ‘Closing Time,’ ‘Blue Valentine,’ ‘Blood Money,’ and ‘Bad as Me.’ He accompanied the release of his music albums with promotional tours and became one of the most loved American celebrities. Meanwhile, he showed his acting prowess with some powerful roles in films at the turn of the century, such as ‘Domino,’ ‘The Book of Eli,’ ‘Twixt,’ and ‘Seven Psychopaths.’
Some of his films did not fare well at the Box Office. These are ‘Tom Waits for No One’ and ‘The Tiger and the Snow.’

After learning that his girlfriend also killed herself, Zia embarks on a road trip to find her, while also picking up a feisty hitchhiker.

When his parents receive the news, they are traumatized and angered, while his grandfather is more understanding.
