Taylor Schilling is best known for her role as ‘Piper Chapman’ in the comedy drama series ‘Orange is the New Black’ (2013 – 2019), for which she was nominated for a ‘Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series’ together with nominations for two ‘Golden Globe’ awards.
She has made several guest appearances on television, including ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson’ (2013), ‘Variety Studio: Actors on Actors’ (2015), and ‘Talking With Chris Hardwick’ (2017).
Schilling made her big screen debut in a supporting role as 'Jackie' in the independent film ‘Dark Matter’ (2007). Her initial career in films received mediocre reviews with her performance in ‘Atlas Shrugged Part I’ (2011) and ‘The Lucky One’ (2012). Her first major success came with her role as 'Christine Mandez' in the movie ‘Argo’ (2012) followed by the 2015 film ‘The Overnight’ in which she played the role of 'Emily' and areceived a lot of appreciation.
