Tara Reid is an American actress best known for her recurring role in the hit adult comedy film series ‘American Pie’ and the B-film series ‘Sharkanado’. Starting her acting career at the age of six, she appeared in ‘Child’s Play’, a TV series, and hundreds of commercials with many major brands. Once she became an adult, she made her first appearance in the cult classic film ‘The Big Lebowski’ in the late 90s. She went on doing some more films such as ‘Cruel Intentions’ and ‘Urban Legend’, but it was the role of Vickie in ‘American Pie’, which turned her into a major star overnight.
Since then, apart from the ‘American Pie’ sequels, she has made her presence felt in some notable films such as ‘Van Wilder’, ‘Alone in the Dark’, ‘My Boss’s Daughter’, ‘The Fields’, ‘Last Call’ and ‘Charlie’s Farm’.
She also had a fairly success run at the television with series’ such as ‘Scrubs’, ‘Taradise’ and ‘Then and Now with Andy Cohen’. She has also been part of the straight to video B-film ‘Sharkanado’ and four of its sequels, where she was severely criticized for her acting. Some major failures of her career are ‘Sharkanado’ film series, ‘Just Visiting’ and ‘Silent Partner.
