Parineeti Chopra started her career as a public relations consultant for Yash Raj Films. She made her acting debut on the big screen in a supporting role in the romantic comedy movie ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahi’ in 2011. Though the film was not a commercial success, Chopra received positive reviews for her role and won several awards, including the ‘IIFA Award for Best Debut.’ She appeared in a leading role for the first time in the romantic drama ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012) which proved successful at the box office. She played the role of Gayatri in the romantic comedy ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ (2013), which was moderately successful. The year 2014 was not a good one for Parineeti Chopra as her ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ and ‘Kill Dil’ turned out to be disasters at the box office. After a gap of three years, she made a comeback in 2017 with ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ and ‘Golmaal Again.’ Her upcoming movies include ‘Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar’ and ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India.’
