Michael Joseph Pennington, known professionally as Johnny Vegas, is an English actor and comedian. He is known mostly for his works on television, which includes the comedy series ‘Benidorm’, where he played Geoff Maltby, as well as the sitcom `Still Open All Hours`, where he played Eric Agnew. He has also appeared in films such as `Black Ball` and `Libertine`.
His best and critically acclaimed works include the films `Terkel in Trouble` (2004), and `Early Man` (2018), and the TV shows `Ideal` and `Good Omens`.
His movies have not done well financially; only two of his films `The Harry Hill Movie` (2013) and `Early Life` (2018), earned more than their budget. His worst movies are `The Libertine` (2004), `Sex Lives of Potato Men`, (2004) and `Grismby` (2016).
