Mary Ann Mobley made her TV debut in ‘Be Our Guest in 1960. She was also the first female star in an episode of ‘Mission: Impossible,’ in 1966. Some of her other TV appearances came in ‘Burke's Law’ (1963-65), ‘Run for Your Life’ (1965-66), ‘Love, American Style’ (1969-73), ‘Fantasy Island’ (1978-84), ‘Diff'rent Strokes’ (1980-86), and ‘Dead Like Me’ (2003). She made her film debut in ‘Get Yourself a College Girl’ (1964). Some of her popular films include ‘Girl Happy’ (1965), ‘Three on a Couch’ (1966), and ‘The King’s Pirate’ (1967). She also appeared in some box-office failures, such as ‘Young Dillinger’ (1965) and ‘For Singles Only’ (1968). She won the ‘Golden Globe Award’ for ‘New Star of the Year’ in 1965. Her last screen appearance came in 1994 on the sitcom ‘Hardball.’
