In 2015, Williams appeared in a recurring role of Ashildr in ‘Doctor Who.’ She made her film debut in the mystery film, ‘The Falling,’ and won the London Film Critics' ‘Circle Award for Young Performer of the Year.’
The role of Arya Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’ was Williams' first in professional capacity, and she received wide popularity and critical acclaim for her performance. She has appeared in all the seven broadcast seasons of the series.
In 2012, Williams portrayed Loren Caleigh in the BBC series ‘The Secret of Crickley Hall’ and also appeared in a skit titled ‘The Olympic Ticket Scalper.’
Maisie Williams has also appeared in independent films like ‘Heatstroke (2012)’ and Gold (2013), and short films, including ‘Corvidae (2013)’ and ‘Up On The Roof (2013).’
Williams portrayed the character of Lydia in the 2015 released British film, ‘The Falling.’
In 2015, Williams returned to ‘Doctor Who’ in the first and third episodes of the series, titled "Face the Raven" and "Hell Bent" respectively.
