Liam Neeson is an Irish actor who is known for his roles in the ‘Star Wars’ prequel franchise and the ‘Taken’ movie franchise. He was first cast in ‘Of Mice and Men’ (1980).
He moved to London after that and acted in movies like, ‘Excalibur’ (1981), ‘A Woman of Substance’ (1984), ‘The Mission’ (1986), ‘Suspect’ (1987), ‘Darkman’ (1990), and ‘Shining Through’ (1992). Liam Neeson got his first big break in the ‘Academy Award’ winning ‘Schindler's List’ (1993), and his portrayal of Oskar Schindler earned him an ‘Oscar’ nomination for best actor. He did some of his best work in the following years in movies like, ‘Michael Collins’ (1996) and ‘Les Misérables’ (1998).
The actor was then cast in the iconic role of Qui-Gon Jinn in ‘Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace’ (1999), a role he reprised in ‘Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones’ (2002). The movies along with ‘Batman Begins’ (2005), ‘Clash of the Titans’ (2010), ‘Taken’ (2008), ‘Taken 2’ (2012), and The Grey’ (2012), are some of best and highest grossing movies of his career.
