John Slattery is an American film and television actor who has had a long, diverse and successful career in all – theatre, films and television. From guest appearances in television series and films to a lead role in ‘Mad Men’, Slattery has come a long way since his early days.Â

Slattery’s early career saw him take up prominent roles in several short lived series such as ‘Under Cover’, ‘Homefront’, ‘Maggie’, ‘Feds’, and so on. His biggest breakthrough came in 2007 when he bagged a lead role in ‘Mad Men’. Reprising his character of Roger Sterling until 2015, it proved to be the best role of his career. Other prominent television series Slattery was a part of includes ‘From the Earth to the Moon’, ‘Judging Amy’, ‘Sex and the City’, ‘Desperate Housewives’ and so on. Slattery also did a range of guest roles in popular films such as ‘Eraser’, ‘Where's Marlowe?’, ‘Traffic’, ‘Bad Company’, ‘Mona Lisa Smile’, ‘Iron Man 2’, ‘Ant-Man’, and ‘Captain America: Civil War’.
In 2015, Slatery bagged an important role of journalist Ben Bradlee Jr. in the Academy Award-winning, Golden Globe-nominated drama film ‘Spotlight’.
