Joaquin Phoenix is an American actor, producer, musician, activist, and music video director. He has won accolades and awards for his music as well as acting career. The movies for which he is best remembered are ‘Gladiator’ (2000), ‘and ‘Walk the Line’ (2005).
Phoenix began his acting career with the TV show ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brother’ (1982), and ‘Backwards: The Riddle of Dyslexia’ (1984). His first major role was in Ron Howard’s ‘Parenthood’ (1989). Following the success of the movie, he was seen in ‘U Turn’ (1997), ‘The Yards’ (2000), ‘Gladiator’ (2000), ‘It’s All About Love’ (2003), ‘The Village’ (2004), ‘We Own the Night’ (2007), ‘Her’ (2013), ‘The Immigrant’ (2013), and ‘You Were Never Really Here’ (2017).
