Glenn Close is a known American singer, actor and producer. With a massive acting career spanning over 40 years, she is known to be one of the finest American actresses ever. She started acting on stage and made her film debut in 70s with the film ‘The World According to Garp’, in a supporting role. She followed it with ‘The Big Chill’ and ‘The Natural’. For all the first three films of her career, she received Academy award nominations in the Best Supporting Actress category, which was quite a rare feat. During the rest of her career, she also went on to receive nominations for three more films ‘Albert Nobbs’, ‘Fatal Attraction’ and ‘Dangerous Liaisons’, which are widely touted as her best roles.
