David Duchovny is an American actor, singer and songwriter. He debuted as a theater artiste, travelling all the way to New York from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut to appear in Broadway productions while pursuing doctorate which he never completed. He first appeared onscreen in a Lowenbrau lager commercial at the age of 27 and shortly after made his debut appearance in the feature film, ‘Working Girl’.
He continued starring in low-profile movies including ‘New Year’s Day’, ‘Denial’, ‘Julia Has Two Lovers’, ‘Bad Influence’, and ‘Ruby’ but some of the films turned out to be box-office hits. ‘Beethoven’, ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead’, Kalifornia’, ‘Evolution’, ‘X-Files’ and ‘Return to Me’ are some of Duchovny’s successful films. However, it was his portrayal of Fox Mulder—a FBI Special Agent- in The Fox Network’s sci-fi series, ‘X-Files’ that brought him widespread stardom.
He went on to reprise the role of Fox Mulder in season 10 of ‘X-Files’ and is slated to appear in season 11 in 2018 comprising 10 episodes.
