Blake Lively is an American actress best known for portraying Serena van der Woodsen on the CW hit series, ‘Gossip Girl’ (2007–2012). She started her career while she was still attending school.
After appearing in a few auditions, Blake Lively was cast in her breakthrough role as Bridget Vreeland in ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ (2005). She then acted in movies like ‘Accepted’ (2006), and ‘Elvis and Anabelle’ (2007).
Her performances were praised by critics and she was cast on the TV series ‘Gossip Girl’ (2007—2012), which remains her best role to date.
She has had her mixed share of luck when it comes to movies.
