Alan Arkin has been ruling the showbiz for over six decades as an actor, screenwriter and director. He entered the industry as a member of ‘Terriers’, a folk-singing group.
He was nominated twice for the ‘Academy Award’ for his phenomenal performances in ‘The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter’ and ‘The Russians are Coming, the Russians are Coming.’ He subsequently won an ‘Academy Award’ for ‘Best Supporting Role’ in ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ and was also nominated for his role in ‘Argo.’
Some of his notable performances include ‘The In-Laws’, ‘Popi’, ‘Edward Scissorhands’, ‘Wait Until Dark’, ‘Thirteen Conversations About One Thing’, ‘Catch-22’ and ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ besides various others. He also received two ‘Genie Awards’ for his works in ‘Joshua Then and Now’ and Improper Channels.’
Arkin is one of the most revered and versatile artist who has won a number of awards, nominations and accolades for his performances which include, ‘Screen Guild Awards’, ‘Tony Award’, ‘BAFTA Award’, ‘Oscar’ and ‘Golden Globe Award.’ He has also authored a number of books that include eight children’s books. The latest of them all has been titled, ‘Tony’s Hard Work Day.’ He also wrote a memoir titled, ‘An Improvised Life’ which was released in 2011.
After the premature death of his creator, Edward, an artificial humanoid, is left with scissor blades for hands. He is discovered by kind-hearted saleswoman Peg, who welcomes him into her home. He quickly wins affection in the neighborhood and falls in love with Peg's teenage daughter, but his luck turns when he is framed for a robbery.
After 7 year-old Olive Hoover qualifies for the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant, her whole dysfunctional family comes together for a cross-country trip from Albuquerque to California in their Volkswagen van. However, a series of disasters obstruct the way to their lofty dreams, including a vehicle breakdown and Olive being abandoned at a gas station.
The movie is adapted from a 1999 book -The Master of Disguise – by the CIA exfiltration specialist, Tony Mendez and a 2007 article by Joshuah Bearman. Depicting true events, the movie follows Mendez, as he devises an ingenious but risky plan to rescue six Americans from Tehran in 1979 by posing as a film crew unit scouting for location in Iran for a science-fiction film.

The puppy soon grows up into a huge, mischievous dog which continuously irritates its owners, but also manages to bring out the best in them.
After the identities of secret agents are compromised following an attack at the spy agency, CONTROL, analyst Maxwell Smart is finally promoted to field agent and is paired with experienced and beautiful Agent 99. As they attempt to foil an evil plan by the terrorist organization KAOS, they realize that their identities were also compromised by a double-agent.
Friends Dave and Mitch have grown apart and lead vastly different lives. Dave is a family man and overworked lawyer while Mitch is an irresponsible adult enjoying life. After their bodies get magically switched one night, they end up with each other’s lives and must find a way to get back their own bodies.
